We savored the Black Angus filet and the NY strip. The service was impeccable and the salted caramel gelato (which comes alongside the chocolate peanut cake) was the best we've ever tasted. It was a wonderful dining experience, definitely worthy of signature status.

Ha!! I came here to warn you about the dangers of posting a thread about Yachtsman's in fear of having it highjacked for arguments about kids in restaurants, but it appears you've already seen my poor, abused thread. :hilarious:

Love the Yachtsman. I'm sad to see the 28 ounce Porterhouse go. However now that I think about it, my wife and I each got one and although I did some damage on mine she barely touched hers (what a shame), so the 32 ounce for two would probably work. She'd get the filet and I'd eat the strip.

I was looking to return again this year, but because the kids love the atmosphere at the CG better we ended up there instead - Not like that's real sob story or anything...Hahaha.

I had the same dessert and the same level of service. The fact that you can add that level of service and ridiculous desert ( I had to control my urge to lick the plate) to one of the best steaks around just makes YS the place to be. Hmmm...Should I book another signature meal????

There like crab cakes just on doughnut hole form instead of a patty.

I am thrilled I changed to this place and can't wait to go! I still can't make up my mind what I want to get there lol

Hey Bill!!!! Does your Mrs. eat cheese?? They do a side dish, truffle mac n cheese that is fabulous as well as mushrooms in garlic butter! They also have a beet salad that is awesome. New menu also has ricotta gnudi. There are several options on the menu I think she would be happy with :) Tell your daughter to have a wonderful time!!!!!!
