Oh, I see. You ride the tube. I ride the subway. Don't even sweat that. Disney transport will be a breeze. A little jostling will make you feel at home. Just a little more sunshine and the wrong side of the road. Yeah, you'll have to be up a half hour earlier than everyone else. Now compare every other amenity. Pool, gym, dining, etc... AKL

AKL is one resort where you want to be up at dawn - that's when the animals are very active (feeding time.) There is nothing like looking out your window and watching a giraffe walk by.

Ok, so I posted a thread in regards to me wanting to surprise my girlfriend and upgrade our package, I followed through and upgraded to AKL, but today, I'd been reading all sorts of bad reviews saying that the bus times can be really bad and that it takes quite a while to get anywhere, so I called up again and upgraded to a Saratoga one bed villa. But now, again, I'm seeing bad things about bus waits and the sorts.

So I'm looking for some help, whether it be a reasurance that all will be good, or maybe some advice. If I change package again I'll have to pay a fee, so I'd rather not do that.

We'll be there in September if that alters anything. I'm just a little worried because I'm so used to POFQ and I'm worried I won't enjoy it as much in comparison.

Also, are the gym facilities included?

There is no perfect resort that everyone will agree with is the best, pick one and enjoy it, make it special in your way. Transportation changes every day, the resorts get how many bases are needed.

OK, NEW DILEMMA.
How far can I make it without her finding out, prior to arriving in Orlando I trust that I am capable to hide all evidence of it, but how do I keep it a secret when we're booking in for the DME.

What is Orlando Intl's oppinion on blind folds?!

SERIOUS.

This is not meant to disparage people who really need them, but dark, dark, dark post-cataract-surgery type glasses (to inhibit her seeing where you are going) and an IPOD/MP3 player with earbuds (to inhibit her from hearing where you are going), and, of course, her agreeing to "play along" with your scheme. I doubt MCO/DME would even notice anyone wearing the glasses and earbuds. Seems everyone does these days.

I hate to bring this to your attention, but it is before you get to Orlando when boarding ME...the baggage labels you put on your checked luggage for ME easily identifies the resort, sees photo. You need to think about how your going to label her luggage prior to the airport so you don't look suspicious to security

I'm going to throw on the blindfold/headphones whilst on the way to ME, hopefully revealing outside the resort/in the lobby.

It'll be a big job, but if I pull it off it'll be awesome!

She knows something is up, I've told her not to open any DW mail or e-mails etc... But right now she's convinced I'm arranging some kind of marriage proposal hahaha
