Leatherette, maybe it's like Naugahyde.

Naugas are nocturnal, hairless, aquatic mammals of many colors that live in the Naugatuck River, and can be made to come to the surface at night by shining a flashlight into the water.

The Naugas are then captured and sorted by color to be made into the various colors of Naugahyde.

Allegedly, when rolled together on a mechanical press, the seams between the Naugas disappear, resulting in a seamless, leather-like product.

It is common knowledge that it takes seven and a half Naugas to make a standard sized couch.

These are two of my first attempts at digital scrapbooking.

I have been using photoshop cs to make these pages. The blank coloured boxes are being reserved for pictures from my trip in Summer :)

Like to know what you guys think...

Any feedback you guys have would help me!!

I don't think they really look like scrapbook pages at the moment!!

love these. did you create everything on here from scratch? where did you get everything? your backgrounds, the signs?

For the most part i just did some searching around the internet and found things that were connected to the themes of my pages and used them on there. Just used some of my photoshop knowledge to make them appear less blurry and such.

I just started off with an idea for a page and decided how i might want it to look, what i could have on it etc.
The ideas just kind of grew from there.

I did these pages when i didn't really have a lot of spare time on my hands, but i'm all done with my exams now :)

I've got just under 6 weeks of spare time where i can do nothing but work on these pages before i go on my trip on August 5th.

is there a site where i can load my pics via the computer, and they will print my 12 x 12 pages and mail them to me? photo quality paper? i have been searching now and i can't find any that do 12 x 12.

I think you can do it at scrapbookpictures.com. I know they'll make 12x12 prints, so I would think a page (saved as a jpeg file) would be the same. I know there's also coupons around for them. Google to see if you can find any.:)

Check out the Creative Memories website, they recently added a digital scrapbooking sevice, although I downloaded it in May I have not seriously used it. My former up-line is a stay at home mom of 4 kids under 9 and she raves about it!!
