I dont know if anyone else caught it, but while I was at the TTA at about 3am I started hearing the "Flight of the luck dragon" score from the movie "The Neverending Story" playing throughout Tomorrowland. Did anyone else who attended catch this? I never noticed it before, so Im guessing it was a one shot deal.

It wasnt very loud, plus it was the slower version of the song which made it even harder to pick up...i think the only reason i noticed was because i was up closer to the speaker system

Main Entrance Turnstiles seemed to have a different, perhaps older soundtrack that featured "Now is the Time", "20,000 Leagues Under the Sea", and also the "Timekeeper Medley" as well as other classic Disney favorites from the parks and from movies.

Adventureland was playing lots of Pirates soundtracks, but I also caught a song that sounds like it was from an Aladdin tv series. It sure wasn't from the movie.

Frontierland was playing old western movie sountracks. It wasnt the typical BGM, but the songs I recognized were from BGM lists across the web from Disneyland's Frontierland or Magic Kingdom's past BGM list.

Liberty Square was playing it's softer older playlist, rather than the loud patriotic march music.

Fantasyland and Tomorrowland has similar sounding playlists that meshed together. In Fantasyland, the playlist sounded more whimsical. One song I picked out was the score from "Enchanted". In Tomorrowland, the playlist seemed epic. The song I recognized most was from the Rocketeer from past BGM lists or other parks. There was also a song that played in Fantasyland and Tomorrowland that was from the current BGM loop at the Main Entrance to Disney's Hollywood Studios.

I noticed the change in music sometime around midnight.

Overall, I enjoyed the new BGM, but it was a very short playlist in Tomorrowland at least where I spent quite a bit of time. I also would disagree with the post above. I found the music very noticeable and loud.

I noticed the main entrance music too, I guess those tracks aren't played there normally, but I want to say that it is Disneyland's or HKDL's main entrance music. I heard Timekeeper and Droid Rooms from Star Tours.

I heard Fantillusion, and Flying from Peter Pan 2003 in Fantasyland.

I heard Arabian Coast from Tokyo DisneySea in Adventureland.

Tomorrowland's music seemed to kind of have a numbing effect on me, 20 minutes in Tomorrowland, and I was ready to leave. It was like one long song that went on forever.

You must be reffering to this loop..What has been mentioned is in there..Also I do find interesting is that this loop also plays Grim Grinning ghosts score from Phantom Manor which is an amazing score for that attraction.:sohappy:

Yep, that's the one! I believe they changed out this loop in 2005.

In Frontierland, I heard Magnificent Seven theme and the main title from Towering Inferno. In Fantasyland, I heard the Amazing Stories main title. In Tomorrowland, Rocketeer, Independence Day and even the score from Mighty Ducks.

Yup, the YouTube link posted above was the loop I heard at Main Entrance that night. Amazing Stories is the one song I heard from Hollywood Studios. The Arabian Coast song from Tokyo is the song that I said sounded like it was from an Aladdin tv series.

All these song selections are somewhat fitting, but are also very strange. I wonder why there even was an soundtrack change and were these songs picked to match the lands' themes?

The loops did change, and they all played a lot louder after midnight that night. I was almost thinking that they did it to prevent people from crawling up in corners and falling asleep :ROFLOL:

What I'm curious about is how they play Heigh Ho on Main Street, project some random colors on the castle, followed by silence and a dark castle for a few seconds. It seems to happen a couple of hours before closing every night.

It was incredibly annoying. I personally hated it. But I wouldn't be surprised if you were right.

I've never heard of this? Do you mean a kiss goodnight that they do close to park closing?

It's not the same thing. It lasts literally like a minute or two and it's over. Last time I heard it, it was about 2 hours before closing. The same night, the good night kiss played 30 minutes after closing time.
