Differences in Buzz lasers?

God bless the "Ignore" button.
MK's came out first, so it's gonna have the least impressive tech. Now, why they haven't fixed them is a whole other story.
The story is money.

There was over five years between the opening of Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin at the Magic Kingdom and Buzz Lightyear's Astro Blasters at Tokyo Disneyland, which was then copied at Disneyland and Disneyland Paris.

I if they will upgrade them? My 3 year old is obsessed with the Buzz ride and we've just come back from Paris again. He was 18 months when we went to Florida but I pulled up an onride from YouTube and had forgotten they were fixed.
Such a shame as I love being able to shoot behind without spinning.
So, presumably MK version does not have the diamond target on the roof of the tunnel? I can't remember how flexible the fixed ones are.

If they at least did a refurb to remodify them this would be a nice thing..Plus then you have a better chanced hitting the back of the first robots hand to hit the 999,999 points quicker..

The anecdote goes that for the original version at WDW, Imagineering expected the spinning part of the attraction to be the big draw (hence Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin), as it had been in the Roger Rabbit Car Toon Spin attraction at Disneyland which had just opened. When they realized the shooting was the big draw instead, and most people were just using the spinning to adjust their ride vehicles, more emphasis was put on the shooting technology and the guns were made removable from their holsters (hence Buzz Lightyear's Astro Blasters).
