Good morning wdw forum! So this summer one of my friends is going to Disney World for the first time and wants to know where he can dine. He is allergic to gluten, dairy and egg. Are there any places you guys recommend or any experiences you can share?
Please and thank you

You can call ahead to any restaurant to see what they offer as an alternative for his allergies and they can tell you. Also, when you arrive, make sure you remind them of the allergy. At some restaurants, the chef will even come out to talk to you about the food allergy concern. Enjoy your trip!

My Dad cannot eat salt ... which generally makes dining at restaurants very difficult. All of the sit down restaurants at the hotels at Epcot which we ate at were all very accommodating. The chef came out to talk to him about his restrictions and prepared a meal my Dad could eat. Make sure to tell your server about your restrictions and ask to speak to the chef before you order. My Dad found eating at the parks to be much more challenging, but he was able to find something at each park.

I'd also go with the other suggestions and call guest relations before your trip and see what they say.

I think he will be pleasantly surprised at how accommodating they will be with sit down meals. I recommend he visit the allergy friendly food cart at AK I believe it's called Gardens Kiosk. They have all kinds of gluten free snacks and Anaheim Produce and the Liberty Square Market kiosk have nice fresh snack options too. Good luck to him!

Same thing happemed to my sister, she has a garlic allergy. Every place we went the Chef would come out and go over things with her. I would just have your friend take a look at the menu's and talk to the chef when you get there and she should be more than ok.

Note that Disney treats allergies differently from dietary restrictions. Any TS location should be fine, the exceptions being a location like Hoop De Doo that has a limited menu resulting in a limited pantry. Simply have the reservation noted as "allergy" and the chef will come out to discuss options with them, or walk them through the line at the buffet. CS locations may be tougher, but they should ask to see "the book" or talk with a manager. Each CS location has a big binder listing all the ingredients they use.
Check out http://www.glutenfreedairyfreewdw.com/ to see some of the things they will make for gluten and dairy allergies. However, with that many allergies, they may want to reach out to Special Diets here -> https://disneyworld.disney.go.com/guest-services/special-dietary-requests/ They can help to identify safe items beforehand, but will usually only get involved for things like guests with multiple allergies.

Special diets may not be willing to work with you. If it's common allergies, you usually have to have 4 or more to qualify for their service.

That being said, you should always note the allergies on your ADR, bring it up when you check in and bring it up again when you meet your server. They may bring out the chef depending on the restaurant. Most quick service are also very well versed in common allergens and what you can eat. We've had many go well out of their way to ensure my older daughter's safety while eating (peanut/tree nut).
