She had the people from the broadway version of "The Lion King" on there singing "The Circle of Life!" It gave me chills, chills I tell ya! :sohappy:

WHOOOOOO!! I missed it, but I'll be seeing the show (TLK) downtown this Sat!

I assume she had the Chicago cast- or was she on location? I'll try to remember to watch the re-run tonight!

It probably was the Chicago cast. Oprah mentioned that they were playing there and at different venues around the country. I wanna see this version with the dancers. Last time they were in Dallas I missed them...daggone it! :)

I'm not really an Operah watcher, but I did see the Lion King Broadway show a few months ago. It really is incredable. I thought thay Beauty and the Beast was a better production but Lion King is still great.

Hello everyone. I'm new to this... It's my first Post! I usually don't watch Operah but I was flipping through the channels and saw the commercial for it and I couldn't help but watch :sohappy:

Can anyone please let me know how I can change my settings after I'm logged on. Thanks.

 welcome Mickiegraphics!!

I've seen both Lion King and Beauty & the Beast ... both in NYC on broadway... and I guess I must have a really indecisive personality... because I just couldn't really say which one I liked better... I loved them both, and would see them both again! :D

Just having a snippy kinda morning

On the topic of Oprah,

DRIFT:

Last year when she ended her book club she said publicly that there wasn't anything out there she felt worth reading, or sharing with her audience. Well I just saw the "book" that brought back her book club. Its East of Eden by John Steinbeck. First published in 1952. I saw in Oprah magazine, that she says its the best book ever written, and that she read it for the first time, this year. So I'm kinda wondering if she is going to take back the whole worth reading statement because she seems to have been mistaken. I don't know why this irks me it just does.:veryconfu

End Drift:

I want to see The Lion King does anyone know if its coming to Indianapolis?
