The misnomer thing doesn't really bother me much. But I love the reactions I get when I tell people there's actually a ride in Spaceship Earth.
"Spaceship what?"
"The big ball."
"Stop pulling my leg."
The funny thing is this usually comes up when I'm talking to people about their previous Epcot trip and it turns out they walked right by SSE several times.
Sounds like another opportunity for Disney to improve how they advertise their attractions. If a lot of people are just "walking right by" it, perhaps their signage, guidebooks, etc. aren't clear enough.
