Did I miss a discount?

Hi all,

So as many of you are, I am anxiously awaiting discounts for 2014. As far as I can tell from the waltdisneyworld.com website, they have not been released yet. However, I have seen threads and posts about stay plan and dine discount or something to that effect. Can someone help me? Did I miss something?

There was one that came out a few days ago for Disney Visa card holders, there will be a discount available tomorrow (for the general public) 10/8 for Room discounts and Stay Play and Dine

Just called - here is what happened:

We are at Beach Club for 9 nights with 10 day park hopper and dining plan. I calculated the two discount offers before calling (been up since 6 a.m.) and determined the 35% room discount was the better deal. By quite a bit. So I called right at 7 a.m. After I waited on the phone for about 30 minutes, I stayed on the line from my phone and called from my DH's. I knew it would be busy but I always think I get sucked into the abyss and no one will answer. So I tried from his phone and listened to the music in stereo from the two lines. After about 55 minutes on hold, a great cast member answered the line. I asked to apply the 35% room discount offer to the existing reservation. With this discount....we saved....

$1642.72

Happy dance Happy dance!!!!!!!!

That's awesome!! YAY for you!!! :) We had the wonderful Tammy over at Kingdom Konsultants book us for 5 nights at AKL, standard view in February and we ended up saving $567.08!! :)

I just saw the discount code when I came home from work, I phoned right away, had about a 5 minute wait on the phone and at first the agent couldn't find a code that didn't involve dining or a visa Disney card but she kept trying and I just saved $2862.56 off the price of two rooms at the Beach Club for 8 nights!!!! She just made my day!!
