Did I forget something? + Question about DME

Hello mouseketeers! I will be staying in All Stars Music from late Dec. to early Jan. and this is my first time staying inside Disney. I have visited Disney World before but have always stayed outside the magic. I booked through Orbitz since they had a good deal and I already have: linked the reservation in MDE, chosen Fastpasses, and chosen my magicbands, but I am a little nervous about missing something so here are my questions:

1. I chose the color of my magic bands but I didn't see a confirm button. Do I need to do something else?
2. I called Disney to book DME and they gave me a website to do it since I booked from Orbitz. I did it and I received an email saying that they received my request, but when will I know if they approved it? I am worried about this.
3. If I arrive in the morning and check in isn't until 3:00 pm, can I go to the parks and relax or do I have to stay in the hotel until I check in?
4. Any other things you think I should know? I am going with my daughter and want to reduce the risk of any mistakes that might cost us our happy time.
5. How does the whole luggage deal work in your return trip?

Thank you! :inlove:

1. Magic Band tracking/shipping can be tracked in My Disney Experience.
2. Call DME direct at 866-599-0951 to check
3. Leave your carry-on bags with Bell Services, check in at the desk, and then go to the parks if your room isn't ready yet. The front desk will send you a text message or give you a number that you can call. (I'd ask them for the number to call, the text message isn't always sent)
5. https://disneyworld.disney.go.com/faq/airport-transportation-and-check-in/ or http://allears.net/acc/mexpress.htm

But...don't they get your bags for you? I am confused. Also, do they charge for this?
No charge, and I was referring to any carry-on bags you have. You should be sure to have any medicine, baby formula, change of clothes, etc or other important items with you, as it can take from 2 to 6 hours for your luggage to get to you.

1. You don't need to do anything else.
2. Definitely call DME to be sure.
3. Go to the parks. They will text you when your room is ready if it isn't ready when you arrive.
4. You are going during the busiest time of year. Please buy a copy of the Unofficial Guide and start researching what you want to do. Lower your expectations of doing much during that time of year. See atmospheric things like the deluxe resort decorations, castle lighting, osborne lights etc.
5. Are you checking luggage? Take it to the resort airline check in desk at your hotel and they will take it from you. from there, you can pick it up at the luggage carousel when you land at home.

Thank you all! ;) I've gone a couple times before during this time of year and have always been able to ride it all (I plan a lot!) knowing how to use the fastpass system helps a lot!

Actually, I've gone before during this time of year and have always been able to ride it all! This is just my first time staying onsite. Thanks!
