So I remember (atleast I think I do :D) that someone on here a bit ago said that the center of Disney World was in Epcot. So we were walking through Epcot on our honeymoon 2 weeks ago and I came across this little round silver thing that said something along the lines of Walt Disney World with some numbers on it. I'm very sorry that I am computer illiterate (sp) and I dont know how to upload pictures. Plus I am at work now and I dont get internet at home :brick:. Are my findings correct or just some random marker for who knows what?

Sounds like you found one of the survey markers that are spread around the property. They're round silver medalions set in the ground, about 4" in diameter.

The "center of Disney World" is (was) in Epcot. It's marked by a giant pattern in the pavement south of the Fountain of Nations, before you get to where the kids play fountain is. As mentioned in the other reply, you can see this pattern easily when looking at Epcot on any of the aerial image sites. The pattern is the original symbol of EPCOT Center (which can also now be found within the flower bed behind Spaceship Earth).

That was the geographical center of the property when EPCOT Center was built. Since then, Disney has de-annexed some land and sold it, bought some other, etc so this marker is no longer accurate.
