DHS Shirts!

Its not that bad. Could be worse. Maybe if they wouldn't have crowded everything on one side of the shirt it would look nicer. The name of the park is HUGE on that thing.

My biggest problem with Disney's shirts is that they all have a HUGE logo and/or picture on the front, and are usually a bright color, which I don't like to wear anyway, but that just makes the tackiness stand out even more. Nothing says "tacky tourist t-shirt" like a huge picture on the front of your shirt. Some people like the tackiness, but I don't.

Its also annoying how its actually kind of hard to find shirts without a Disney character on them. Tower of Terror, for example, should not have Disney characters featured in the t-shirts, since they don't have anything to do with the theme whatsoever. They always resort to slapping characters on the shirts rather than coming up with something unique/clever.

What I want, more than anything, is a tasteful "Hollywood Tower Hotel" shirt, maybe with "est. 1917" added, but they've never had it.

By some, you mean Americans? Crazy Canadian!:p;)

Most resorts and parks have unique polo's...or at least I thought they did. Are you refering to the lack of them period, or the lack of choices?
Lack of resort-specific. Contemporary had women's tops that say "Contemporary", that's it. Polynesian had Hawaiian shirts, but no golf shirts. Even Pop Century had only Tee-shirts. I asked at all three in case I was just not looking in the right area, but was told they had nothing like that [I even used the shirt I was wearing to provide an example in case they didn't know what I meant by "Golf Shirt"].

Epcot had some nice golf shirts, but I saw nothing at MK, AK or DHS other than generic WDW or Mickey shirts.

I'm pretty inclined to agree, as well. Give me a nice t-shirt that doesn't tell which year I went; I can figure it out for myself.
You lose that skill the older you get and more trips you've done... :lookaroun

First... the shirt. It looks pretty good, but I'd like to see "movie director Mickey" on the shirt. I'm sure we'll see many more styles in the near future.

Second, the date. I have shirts from many years back that have the year on them. This isn't new. Also, we're not exactly representative of many guests. A lot of people don't get to go once a year or multiple times a year (or month!). They may be on their "once in a lifetime" trip or first time in several years. If dated merchandise didn't sell, it wouldn't be available. I have a feeling there are plenty of guests purchased the dated merchandise.

I would be tickled pink if they would carry Reyn Spooner's Disney shirts somewhere on property...and drastically drop the price. Anyone know a good place to buy the Reyn Spooner Disney shirts pretty cheap on the web?

I like them. Yes, the year thing is a bit tacky but it could have been worse. I like how they have the muppets in there, which is my favorite attraction at DHS!

Well, they probably sell anyway regardless of how much guests actually like them. They don't have the greatest selection for people who would feel tacky/dorky wearing a Disney character, so you're left with shirts that have the year plastered on them.

It's not that bad. I'm sure they will update them as the years progress. But yeah, the date thing annoys me bc then people know how old your clothing is...hehe.;)

I wouldn't mind if there were more options without the year on it, fine leave that on for the people who do like to be reminded & like to tell the world where & when they go all the time. I also wonder if all those guests purchased the shirts with the years on it only because they have no other options. I just think they need to re-think their whole merchandise sections.
