I'm still not a big fan of the new name of the park.
My biggest problem with Disney's shirts is that they all have a HUGE logo and/or picture on the front, and are usually a bright color, which I don't like to wear anyway, but that just makes the tackiness stand out even more. Nothing says "tacky tourist t-shirt" like a huge picture on the front of your shirt. Some people like the tackiness, but I don't.Its not that bad. Could be worse. Maybe if they wouldn't have crowded everything on one side of the shirt it would look nicer. The name of the park is HUGE on that thing.
Lack of resort-specific. Contemporary had women's tops that say "Contemporary", that's it. Polynesian had Hawaiian shirts, but no golf shirts. Even Pop Century had only Tee-shirts. I asked at all three in case I was just not looking in the right area, but was told they had nothing like that [I even used the shirt I was wearing to provide an example in case they didn't know what I meant by "Golf Shirt"].By some, you mean Americans? Crazy Canadian!
Most resorts and parks have unique polo's...or at least I thought they did. Are you refering to the lack of them period, or the lack of choices?
Yes, but they're all generic Disney stuff. I was looking for resort- and park-specific ones.Did you try the store Team Mickey Athletic Club at DTD? I thought they had a big selection of polos.
Kind of boring, I really dislike how they have to put the year on every single shirt they sell :hurl:
You lose that skill the older you get and more trips you've done... :lookarounI'm pretty inclined to agree, as well. Give me a nice t-shirt that doesn't tell which year I went; I can figure it out for myself.

Well, they probably sell anyway regardless of how much guests actually like them. They don't have the greatest selection for people who would feel tacky/dorky wearing a Disney character, so you're left with shirts that have the year plastered on them.Second, the date. I have shirts from many years back that have the year on them. This isn't new. Also, we're not exactly representative of many guests. A lot of people don't get to go once a year or multiple times a year (or month!). They may be on their "once in a lifetime" trip or first time in several years. If dated merchandise didn't sell, it wouldn't be available. I have a feeling there are plenty of guests purchased the dated merchandise.
I get tired of the same old T-shirts and hoodies. I wanted a nice denim or oxford style shirt for DH last trip - couldn't find a one!
I'm willing to bet that black is the most popular t-shirt color.Black T-Shirts are the best idea ever ! :brick:
Can't wait to wear it on a sunny Florida day !
