DHS 2018 - How Great?

I've been thinking and getting really excited for Hollywood Studios (or whatever the new name will be)'s future in 2018. With the new additions the park can be really amazing. I'm speculating upon the current plan (Star Wars Land in Echo Lake, Cars Land in Backlot) so join me on the ride.

Attraction Roster - The Great Movie Ride, Star Tours - The Adventures Continue, X-Wing Spinner, Endor Speeder Bike E-Ticket, Muppet-Vision 3D, Mater's Junkyard Jamboree, Cars Dark Ride, Toy Story Mania, Tangled Show, Princess and the Frog Show, The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror, Rock 'n' Rollercoaster Starring Aerosmith, Fantasmic!


Don't forget about a hatless entrance, Star Wars meet-and-greets/walk-throughs, Flo's V8 Cafe, Mos Eisley Cantina, Cozy Cones Food Court


Discuss how great/or-not-so-great of a park you'd think this would be.

Knowing the WDWMagic community I have a feeling we will be in much dislike of the new DHS… I however hope that Disney can prove us wrong for once and make us shut up! YAY for a full day DHS!!

Yes, I don't know why this is apparently not on the table, especially given that it is being developed for DCA. Why not spread the development costs over 2 parks like they did with TSMM?

Or, if not the door coaster, why not a simple Monsters Inc dark ride? DHS could use either one.

There's apparently going to be some sort of indoor Jedi Academy as well.

I'm hesitant to get too excited as well.

Well it seems the recent rumours would create awesome additions to DHS (at least in my opinion) I do look forward to an official announcement so I can let my guard down and really get excited.

By 2018, hopefully that giant hat will be gone once & for all. But this leaves the question: What will the Chinese Theater be by then? If the hat does, in fact, get removed, the Theater will have to become something other than what it is now. :( Will it be made into something Star Wars-related? Will it be rebuilt to resemble the theater structure at the front of DCA?

3. There already is a Carthay Circle Theater in DHS.
