DHS 2018 - How Great?

By 2018, hopefully that giant hat will be gone once & for all. But this leaves the question: What will the Chinese Theater be by then? If the hat does, in fact, get removed, the Theater will have to become something other than what it is now. :( Will it be made into something Star Wars-related? Will it be rebuilt to resemble the theater structure at the front of DCA?

No it won't.

This article (http://www.wdwthemeparks.com/rumors/2013/07/01/star-wars-land-coming-to-hollywood-studios) from the 15th was referenced by a couple of individuals who have, in the past, given fairly accurate info.

Here is the thread in which some of this is discussed:

Sadly, reading that article I have to snicker to myself that its just worthless hyperbole.

A full size Millennium Falcon Walk through? LOL, since when does Disney not dictate how fast the public goes through their attractions? If this "walk through" is not on rails or a boat, that's an outright lie.

Sorry, to be honest, with the attendance where its at for DHS, I can realistically see Disney doing nothing. Why should they spend 1 billion fixing a park that really has no attendance issues when they can take a quarter of that and make a film that will make them another billion?

Ok after reading the report and many comments on many threads all I can say is IF TDO really does follow through with the things listed and not cut the budget once the projects start this would be a fantastic thing. It would give me a much bigger reason to go to DHS. I've not been to DHS yet but being a Star Wars fan I would love to see this happen. But after hearing how NFL was suppose to be and how it has turned out I wont hold my breath that all that is listed will appear.

The more threads I read the more I am learning that TDO loves to make big plans and then once the projects start then slash budgets. So over all I will wait to see what the final product is.

Now I have a question, with all this working that is suppose to be going on is it going to be worth going to DHS in 2015 when we hope to go back? Or are we going to end up seeing lots of construction and very little of anything else?

As long as DHS has clones from my home parks, it will never be great to me. If they do get their own unique attractions, I would be thrilled.

I can see your point but, if for no other reason to avoid looking stagnant in the face of Universal's upgrades and transformations, changes will be important.
