And for those interested, this is the gift bag and contents for the General level

Looks a bit skimpy this time around.

I remember when I attended Destination D two years ago the Lug backpack was huge and packed FULL with all sorts of tangible items for general admission Guests.
Games, plushies, vinyl figures, Lorcana cards, metal items, pins, patches, keychains, and loads more.
I was impressed.

This time around it looks to be mostly paper goods…

I will say this -
The advertising flyers work.
I was not aware of Bath n’ Body Works doing a ‘Disney Villians’ collection of scents this season.
So thanks for the heads up!

It is a nice and large bag, though just gray, not Disney themed. There are a number of pins and buttons and patches and stuff. Also some certificates to redeem for more pins and stuff like that

I will say it is solid / sufficient but not like blowing me away

A major renovation has been announced for Ratatouille: L'Aventure Totalement Toquée starting this October, with an planned reopening in Spring 2026.

Here's the concept art from the announcement:

Full details at the link below:

I assume most people missed this (because I did).

I must say, increasingly the parks panel seems to have been an active choice as opposed to a content problem. Assuming the villains land details follow.

Definitely, the last few weeks we've had the following that would be Destination D23 level announcements and updates:
  • Magic of Disney Animation returning to Animation Courtyard (including the area redesign)
  • Updates on
    • BTM,
    • Zootopia: Better Zoogether
    • RnR Starring The Muppets
  • Ratatouille refurb at DLP
  • Tokyo DisneySea's 25th anniversary entertainment

It's a shame. I've got premier seating and can only attend for 1 day (100% personal choice, went into it with my eyes open). But it's fun to announce these things at an event to fans. Im sure those not attending would have enjoyed watching the announcements on a live stream too. I always have when I've been at home and not at the event. More fun than a random blog post.

Obviously for whatever reason Josh can't make it this year?

Is the live stream only for D23 members? Or will it be available to all?

I am not a D23 Gold member, but I received an email with live stream info. I'm guessing it requires some sort of log-in?
