I thought Josh thought about the average guest every day?

I guess he’s too busy doing rich guy things that weekend to soil his extra tight pants with the plebs.

Wait…did that sound bad?
Josh cares for us…he really does…that’s why they are taking steps to do…whatever it is they are doing?

Design fantastic four rides?

(Too soon?…too real?)

What do you mean the retheme of mine train to the new live action Snow White isn’t a good idea?

The Wish retheme of SSE not viable anymore?

Thunderbolts of the Caribbean a nonstarter?

You came up with a lot of stuff not built…like at all…or being built…or even talked about.

Where ya getting your info?

You do understand the difference between a 3 dimensional physical structure and a concept sketch, correct?

In due course…maybe

What about stitch and wonders? Prime real estate, no?
I didn’t make any of that stuff up.

I guess we will see.

Well maybe this will finally calm the surge of folks insisting there was to be a ‘big announcement’ related to the Imagination Pavillion.

As I said a week or so ago, Disney is not going to announce anything majorly MAJOR at one of these ‘smaller’ events.
They want maximum press coverage and media attention and that is D23 Expo turf.

I feel bad for those who became overhyped and are now crashing from the high with the schedule release.
Especially those who bought tickets already.

Buck up…there may still be a few little fun surprises to come…
Emphasis on ‘little’.
But still fun.

I didn’t say you made anything up…I’m
Sure all of that was whisperered out of Turn/with zero clue by the legions of “insiders”, podders and vloggers that latch onto everything for clicks…
The problem is half of it exists not on this planet in any real form on this date and time.

Second Monsters ride…villains ride(s)…muppet shows…second cars rides.

Can you get me the schematics for that stuff? Or like…maybe a better watercolor at least?

The amount of press coverage they get at their conventions is fixed and irrelevant. It will be covered by abc…the sentinel and the LA times…and grumped on by the financials…rest assured.

They are likely in a holding pattern…which is almost standard…to limit the investment over the longest time for maximum pump potential…

And how could we figure that out?

4 attractions is “almost a new park”? Cars has 1 ride announced with a second “TBD”. Villains doesn’t have a shovel of dirt moved yet. But sure…
4 in MK, 3 in AK, 3 In HS( if you count Animation Courtyard) Yeah, almost a new park. If those are all built as expansions, the cost to operate each park goes up more than if they replace attractions. Yes price increases will go up no matter what, everything does, but it would go up higher and faster if profits margins started to shrink due to higher operating costs. Not defending it, just reality.

Perhaps they were going to have Piston Peak be the main topic of discussion ... and they got cold feet about the 'boos' they'd get.

They can't keep kicking the can and press-releasing this thing forever. They'll have to face the fans at some point. In 2028, when there's pretty landscaping to point at, I guess.

Piston Peak has already been at 2 D23's in the last 12 months?

Uh, the regular world would shrug about destroying the Rivers of America. It's the ones that go to fan cons that would riot. Or at least chant "R.O.A! R.O.A! R.O.A!" much to Josh's embarrassment. There's a reason why the precise location wasn't announced on stage last year.

Except it was on stage in Brazil after this was already known. It's practically the only thing they talked about.

I think this is all expectation setting. Instead of a parks panel that they only really gave new details about the new Cars Ride (Brazil); we're getting a "Parks panel" where they've pre-empted we are only getting details on Villains Land.

If I had to get details on one project, I'm most curious about Villains, so I guess my expectations are now appropriately set low. And no we're clearly not getting an Imagination long-shot redo at this one.
