Lots of people here are expressing 'expectations' for several announcements.

Doesn't mean it will happen.

What matters if you have a reliable inside source who will tell you "they will announce X" at D23. Unless they have that, expectations are just guesses that anyone can have. Including people with a YouTube channel.
It reminds me of video game announcements. Nobody really has a clue except those actually involved in the work, yet everyone has expectations of an announcement. It would be nice to hear something, but I’m not super optimistic.

A Celebration of Disney Parks, Experiences and Products: Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow

Join Disney Parks, Experiences and Products Chairman Josh D’Amaro and special guests for an entertaining presentation looking to the future of Disney parks, featuring updates from around the world and some fun surprises along the way.

I can't wait to find out if the cupcakes will be rose-gold or iridescent (or [could you imagine?!?] BOTH!!!)

There is almost no way that they don’t talk about Figment more, especially with him being featured in the background and that there is an Epcot panel.

I know that the actors’ union strike probably prevented it, but I was really hoping to see some of the classic Disney actors and actresses there at Destination D for the 100th anniversary.

If any new attraction is announced, you can bet that is a minimum of 5+ years away. At Disney's current development and financial funding rate? Yeah...Disney's finance group has WAY bigger problems today than paying for a new WDW atrraction. Next year's multi-billion HULU purchace will suck every penny the company has in their sofa.

Ok....Josh will give us some really cool Blue Sky water color paintings of something....but no timeline on when it will get started or when it finishes.

That's my guess....

Maybe the current strikes will make it so that Disney’s most significant creators and contributors are honored as Legends rather than a few famous actors.

"fun and entertaining presentation about what makes a Disney experience so magical and memorable for guests and fans around the world"

Let me guess, storytelling?

That ceremony happens at the Expo, not Destination D. But I understand your sentiment. I was just hoping to see some of the classic actors from the sixties and seventies and eighties live action films. I missed the Mouseketeer reunion at the Expo in 2017, but I thought with the 100th anniversary, there would be some presentations with some of the classic actors (before the strike). Ike Eisenmann (Witch Mountain) even lives in Orlando and puts on social media that he goes to WDW often. Would also like to see classic imagineers like Tony Baxter.
