Mmmm. $7 apples.Nice! How about a "Veggie Veggie Fruit Fruit" snack credit stand.
Do tellOh, god…I hope what I just heard about the Nemo show proves false. Yuck!
They can describe it however they want, but in practice even the D23 leadership would fly out before the end of the Destination event because of "other business." Lot of eyerolling before the Sunday finale when some random person would be like "Head of D23 had to jet back to CA and is sorry he couldn't be here..." In practice, this is a few hundred people sitting in a ballroom who mostly want to buy LE merchandise and take pictures of Disney people, like the lady with the Josh T-shirt. It is nothing like the event at the Anaheim Convention Center which is more akin to San Diego Comic Con. Destination D isn't even on the same scale as the old Disneyana conventions. Both D23 in Anaheim confirmed for 9/22 and Destination D this month at WDW are both described as " the ultimate fan event ".
I would absolutely welcome that. In fact, I'm ashamed I didn't think of that.Nice! How about a "Veggie Veggie Fruit Fruit" snack credit stand.
Whatever the opinion, the " ultimate fan event " upcoming at the Contemporary is sold out of tickets. They can describe it however they want, but in practice even the D23 leadership would fly out before the end of the Destination event because of "other business." This is where they announce stuff like Typhoon Lagoon is reopening or the trams are returning, or here is a preview of some merchandise and here's a trailer for our next movie.
^ fixedMmmm. $7 apple slices
Because it came with access to Mickey's of Glendale (WDI) pins that can be flipped on Ebay or Facebook for hundreds of dollars. The Beauty and the Beast Jumbo that the store sold for $160 is listed on Ebay for $1000. Attendees tomorrow can tell us how many empty seats there are in the room from the people that did the merchandise pickup and shopping today and went to the free screening of Encanto not coming for the Main Event. Some flippers do watch the panels, but not usually their buddy or spouse that they registered as their guest so they were able to double dip on the merchandise.Whatever the opinion, the " ultimate fan event " upcoming at the Contemporary is sold out of tickets.
That's why they call it that- to sell ticketsWhatever the opinion, the " ultimate fan event " upcoming at the Contemporary is sold out of tickets.
I wouldn't be surprised if rooms at the Contemporary go for $1K per night. The promotion to sell out the event worked. That's why they call it that- to sell tickets
Tell me again why anyone would want to enter into a room when people react in this way to him. Nobody here has any facts to counter the statement that he has a scheduling conflict that prevents him from arriving in time. CEO's of huge corporations have a broad range of responsibilities and often have to make choices. Deciding that Josh is capable of representing his message allows him to meet his other commitments.what a GUTLESS WONDER.... THAT"S GUTLESS ., GUTLESS, GUTLESS...
Good point, however I think the issue is more that he was scheduled to be there then quietly removed then not being there at all.How many Destination 23s did Iger attend?
Many, in spiritHow many Destination 23s did Iger attend?
Don't you know? Iger now represents "the good old days".How many Destination 23s did Iger attend?
Remember guys, its the fans fault. Disney has no control whatsoever over the scheduling of Destination 23, so conflicts can happen. Poor Chapek only cares about properly celebrating the 50th, as anyone who has been to the parks should absolutely understand. He has been nothing - NOTHING - but "civil" to guests over the last few years, exploiting a once-in-a-century global tragedy to make necessary changes like raising prices dramatically, cutting entertainment, eliminating parking lot trams, reducing food portions, delaying rides, and firing a golden retriever - all because he knew if he didn't make cynical excuses for those actions, fans might be distracted from the all-important 50th, which, again, matters more then anything to Bob. And yet "uncivil" fans might boo him, something so uncommon and appalling in modern society that it would shock the sensibilities of all well-bred citizens. Disgusting.Tell me again why anyone would want to enter into a room when people react in this way to him. And besides, even if he doesn't actually have an actual conflict, why would he want to enter into a room where 'so-called' Disney fans would be planning to act in an uncivil manner solely looking to create a scene. Doing so would make the entire weekend about that one event instead of the celebration of WDW 50th it's intended to be. I'm pretty sure I've been to every Destination D event and don't recall Bob Iger ever participating.
This would be a really great talking point if Chapek weren't pretending he TOTALLY intended to attend, honest you guys, but a pesky scheduling conflict just made it gosh-darn impossible. How many Destination 23s did Iger attend?
