The "big event" I heard from my Pirate friend will be an official ribbon cutting ceremony... and now with rumors of JD being here in FL, might he actually be there? I wanna go!!! [And I might get to... I dont work until later that afternoon... ] Who else is comin'- 8:45 ish, Magic Kingdom, POTC! See ya there!

So it's starting at 8:45? Since the park doesn't open until 9am, will they be letting people in early? I'm just trying to figure out what time I should leave my house to be there in time (I'm about 20 minutes away)....

Sorry, I've got friends that work up in LA in interesting circles. The "Company" is very concerned that the media knows all about his little habit and is waiting for the film to open in theaters before they spill the beans.

Sooner or later, it's going to be on Entertainment Tonight. It's not attractive, but that's the buzz up the freeway in West LA.

Well, if it's all the same to you, I'll choose to wait until it IS on Entertainment Tonight and until then continue to appreciate Mr. Depp for the fantastic actor that he is. You know, here's a guy that chooses to live his private life privately and not put his kids on the covers of magazines and advertise the ups and downs of his family and relationships and people like you can't just respect that and not spread nasty rumors?

I whole heartdley agree with Jill, just because Mr. Depp doesn't take his partner and children to every project opening isnt a reason to disvalue his skills. This man has moved out of the country for a reason and that is simply because he loves his work and his family far too much to let them be chased by photgs he wants to enjoy the perks his job offers but not the disadvantages! And if it Johnny does have a herion addiction, which I tend to think he does not, then I will believe it when he goes into rehab or ET annoces it. And folks lets be logical no woman in her right mind would allow her children to be around a father who's habits might endanger them!:brick:

By the way, I have heard several rumors from other area managers etc about what exactly is happening on July 7th. This is the first I hear about Mr. Depp as previously I had heard it was Orlando and Keira only.

He is going to portray, as in be the lead actor in a movie based in fact on Gregory Roberts who was a heroin addict, that is getting ready to start shooting in the next couple of months.The name of the movie is Shantaram and was a novel by Gregory Roberts, based on his life.

cool! im arriving at WDW on the 7th! i dont think i'll make it to the magic kingdom on time for the ceremony thing. my plane leaves at 7:10 and its a 2 and a half hour flight. but its still cool, im staying at the dolphin- 2 hotels away from the yacht club!
