I'm an AP, and I didn't get anything regarding this. As a matter of fact, I never get any communications related to these kinds of things...I always end up finding out about it afterwards. This in spite of being signed up for every email Disney-related subscription service that's available. Any suggestions?

I feel your pain. I am an AP as well, and I didn't know about this either. Immensely frustrating to say the least. I just checked, and it isn't even on their Facebook page. Ridiculous.

Last night we also got to preview the new holiday ending to Frozen sing along which added 2 songs from the new Frozen short and an appearance from Olaf. We had fun, but it makes the show feel LONG
Hopefully more high pyro than SW: AGS has now.
As for Sunset........LOVE The fanfare intro for each segment and
love the Toy Hotel segment

The projections were very nice. They had 4 different scenes I believe and would keep the effect going for about a minute before switching to the next scene. The tower of terror doors still open which ruins the effect a little bit but isn’t too bad if you aren’t looking for it. LOTS of fake snow happening!

Would the G-Force Records Plaza also be a good sight to see the tower instead since you can see it straight on instead of the odd angle from Sunset Blvd? Like this for example?

No. The projections are designed to be viewed from Sunset Boulevard. In my opinion it's cute but shallow and tacky. I don't think it'll get great ratings but I also don't despite it with my every being. They really like those Prep and Landing characters. Also, on the bright side, maybe the projectors could be put to good subtle use the rest of the year.
