Or a new cupcake! Why does it have to be a defense or an attack? I saw it as a true statement. The response by some people is Pavlovian when Disney offers seemingly any upsell.

That thing was pure awesome. Probably took a year off my life, but it was worth it.
Classical conditioning. So, then, you're attacking Disney for being a business?
Because then people would not pay for the upcharge events to secure a spot.Idk if this is a dumb question or not, but why hasn't Disney put the JTA sign ups online? That seems like an easy solution for the lines to sign up in person.
Not even close to correct. They don't put them online because they require the child to be present at sign up. This is to make sure that the kids actually wants to do it, is capable to do it, and so any special needs can be met.Because then people would not pay for the upcharge events to secure a spot.

Since you're new I'll fill you in. The "Disney is a business" line is used many times around here to defend almost anything from broken ride effects to stagnation to upcharges. We all know that they're a business. The point is that they used to be a better business that focused on guest experience. Why does it have to be a defense or an attack? I saw it as a true statement.
