Deleted Thread

One of my threads was deleted...I'm assuming by a Mod. Any idea why? If I did something wrong (posted about something that was not allowed) I would think they would send me a message and tell me what I did instead of just deleting it. Anybody ever have this happen?? I had a legitimate question to ask and thought this would be the right place to ask it.

It might be possible it was moved to another forum, that happens often to newer members (including me once). Other than that, I don't really know

It wasn't moved because when I search under my postings it isn't there either. It's been deleted entirely.

Yes, it has happened to me too. Once when I promoted my smutty pr0n sites that I keep for a living, and another time when my other site ran a promotion for a free Green Card thrown in if you buy two degrees from Andalasskritt University.

Ok...I understand. However, since my question was regarding the legitimacy of the site (as opposed to promoting it, which I was not), a message explaining that to me would have been appreciated.

I understand that, but considering you can see that I'm a new member it would have been courteous to send me a message. That's all...I just would have appreciated the kindness of giving me a heads up.

True, but sending a PM to every deleted post user would possibly be too time consuming.

Welcome @JoyE !! It's a great site for info on anything you need to know and has a lot of great members on here. Just ignore some of the older snarky members. They've been around awhile and get tired of the same old issues with us newer people.
