I'm pretty sure that's true on Deck 9. (It might be true on Decks 4 and 10 also, but I'm not even close to sure about that.)

Sorry, I was talking about verandahs. There are more restrictions on public decks, but on your own verandah you can smoke on either side of the ship.

Yup, I knew that, Tammy. I was just trying to explain why the original poster might have thought that you could only smoke on one side of the ship. But I just got electricity back after 3+ days without it, so my internet communication skills were probably rusty.
