December as "Meet" month

December seems to have the majority of the votes on having an "Official Meet". What does everyone think about the first week of December? Please keep in mind that many people will be there with their families and will not have time to devote to seeing everyone every day. So here is my suggestion; we can arrange to go to the MVMCP together or the HDD or we can do Chef Mickey's for breakfast. I can call and make arrangements, (meals together) that is no problem. I would like everyones input on what to do. If we can arrange a few get togethers, then we can meet our forum friends and have our family vacation at the same time. If anyone has any suggestions on where to meet besides at a restaurant, let's hear it. And let's start a list on who will be going and how many will be in your group. We can get into where everyone is staying and the dates later on, but if you want to post it now, go for it! If you cannot go in Dec., I will be there in May and June if anyone would like to meet me.
Let's make this happen.

Congrats on your mom's birthday Pam ! I agree with you on the HDD , hubby loves the food too but will never go again after being " asked gently " to join in last time ! :lol: :lol: From now on he only does the joining at the Whispering Canyon ! :lol: Think the MVMCP is a great idea though ! My husband and I will be at WDW then too. We arrive on Thanksgiving at the CR for 3 nights and then move to BCV for 7 nights.

I think a meet at MVMCP would be great

I have asked for Dec 3 -5 off work and I am waiting for the vacation calendar to see if it's approved. I would like to meet and the place doesn't mattter to me. This is a fun idea.

I suppose, if everyone wants me to set things up , that I can. It's not like I don't do it everyday.:lol: If they want to do their own thing that is fine too. I don't want to upset anyone, but if they want me to do it for them or for everybody, I would. (and no, I would not charge anyone to set up the dining for the meet, in case anyone was wondering)

The second week is cheaper then the first week.
MY Hotel the first weekof Dec is about 109.00 A night.
The second week is like 79.00 a night. I think most
of the Hotels are like that that is the week I go.
everything else sounds like fun.

Hey there Pam, Count me in also. I dont anticipate any kind of problem for December and I agree we arent going to be able to do EVERYTHING together. I like your idea of a select item or three!! We do all have to get name tags or something so we know who each other are!!!!
Hey Freak HDD is the Hoop Dee Doo Review!!! An all you can eat thingy, that I have heard is pretty nice, but have never done before.
I am looking foward to meeting all of my posting buds from the board. Belle

We can do a HDD thingy and the MVMCP and something else. We don't have to do them all, if someone only wants to do one, that's fine too. I'm open for lots of suggestions. December is going to take FOREVER to get here!
