Hi there!

My boyfriend and I are thinking of taking a trip to WDW from December 6th to December 14th. Are there any discounts for the winter that may be coming out soon? I know the one for September is just about to end and was wondering if they'd be releasing a new one.

Also, what are the crowds like around that time? I know it's going to be crowded the closer we get to Christmas, but I was wondering what that specific week would be like.

Thank you to anyone who has some advice!

Love a little Disney every day!! ;)
We go around that week every time we go. Prices are at their lowest even without a discount, and crowds are alot lower. Parks are not open as late but with the lower crowds you dont need as many extra hours. We are going 12/5-12/15 this year. Discounts will come out probably in August or Sept. Usually they have room discounts and free dining. Which one you choose just depends where you stay etc and what comes out best money wise for you. You will love it at this time of year!! All the Christmas decorations and events are happening and you don't have to pay the steep prices and horrible crowds that are there durning Christmas week. So much extra to see and do. Dont miss the Osborne Dancing Lights at HS, Candlelight Processional at Epcot, lights on the Castle, visit Resorts if you have time to see beautiful decorations as well. Once we started going at this time we can't make ourselves visit any other time except maybe Oct/Nov as we have also before. :)

We got free dining during that time period last year. Wait and see. They'll probably announce it in August if they do it this year. Crowds won't be terrible then except perhaps at the MK on days when they are NOT holding MVMCP because people may choose to visit the park that day so they can stay for the night time parade and fireworks without the hard ticket for the party.

I was there during that time in 2010 and 2012. There were discounts available.

Crowds were not too bad. I still did rope drop and tried to get the headliners out of the way early so that my night could be spent just watching the Osborne lights, the castle lights or some kind of holiday something.
