Anyway that you can take a much wider angle lens of this photo next time you're in the park. I want to see just how much it intrudes into the park. Makes me sad how that view of the NY skyline has been corrupted. I'm just thankful that its not nearly as intrusive as the coaster in Japan is. Maybe it's not as bad as I'm thinking, that's why I'm hoping you can grab a wide angle shot for me.

Thanks

I'll see what I can do if I stop in before TNA today.

coooool

Thanks for the photos!

Anyone know what they're building near the Nascar restaurant?
It's apparently going to be a Whopper Bar.

Was there yesterday and I could see the track even before I went through the front entrance. It doesn't intrude much into the actual park, mostly that "picture spot" of New York.

On a side note, they already scratched some paint off the track going through the building. You can see it in the picture.

Actually the rails of the track all have white paint lines down them where the coaster wheels will ride.

The track is now in the downward portion of the knot above the Twister queue. It looks fantastic and is really quite high up. I think this is going to be one nice addition to the parks.

I don't know if you've watched the Macy's Holiday parade lately, but on the days that TNA is taping, they usually have wrestlers as the Grand Marshalls. Today was a whole group of people including Mankind, Jeremy Borash and others. Last week they had Beer Money on the float too. Thanks for the update!

I noticed the white line along the rails too, but that is not what I am referring to. If you look at the middle piece of steele (the one both sides of the track are connected to, don't remember what that is called...) that is going through the building to the left of the pic, you should see a white scratch in the paint. And I agree, it does look incredible.

Yesterday, the TNA was filming, but it was that mouse with the big honking ears from that new movie as the marshal.

JROK, I heard about that... and the freakin' parade delays us getting backstage.  Thankfully today was the last taping 'til January.

Here are some different views of the track from today:

meh... looks six flags-ish. Just there, in the theme. Now I assume there will have to be some sort of permanent fence or wall added as we can't just be milling about under the track supports.
Maybe there is a plan to make it fit in better?

eh, it does ruin the theme in that area, but its a small area and a section I always just barely paid attention to anyhow. It's not as bad as it could have been. It could have been like the one in Japan.

If my memory serves me correctly (I could be wrong), in the outside queue of Hulk, don't the supports surround the line?

I guess we will have to see what they do after the construction wall comes down. All I know is that the New York street scene/photo op is ruined... not that I mind that much, but someone will.

Heading for the great escape.
There are supports where the ride crosses the bridge, with the nety above with all the lost wallets, specs, artificial limbs and park maps.

Im pretty sure Air at Alton Towers passes over the Q line several times.

Yeah, there are some huge supports for the Hulk in that little bridge area, but the coaster passes pretty high above the people below. This one looks quite a bit lower
