Dear Disney, please, just a little bit of glue...

Does anyone else find it incredibly annoying when people run their hands over the marble doors in the Rock 'n' Roller Coaster standby queue? This creates an ear-piercingly loud noise that's actually painful to the ears.

This could be solved in one hour with a hot glue gun and without affecting the appearance of the door.

So, who's on board with having Disney fix this? And if not, who's on board with bringing a vial of superglue to the Studios for a little do-it-yourself fixin'? :sohappy:

The only people who love it are the kids who aggressively run their hands across it. If you pay attention to everyone else standing near the doors, you'll see cringing, and sometimes people covering their ears.

I see more adults than kids who enjoy it on every trip and I've yet to see a single person cringe or cover their ears.

Not old, just vintage.

I couldn't cover my ears if I wanted to. My hands are too busy playing with the marbles.

Have never seen anyone cringe at the sound of people spinning the marbles, and like someone else previously posted, more often it is adults doing it.

Sorry Timekeeper, you're on your own...

Perhaps it's not those marbles that are the problem? :lookaroun

J/K, while it bothers you, you certainly are in a minority on this one.

I love that wall of marbles...does not bother me. I beat you would also hate the bell outside on the way to bus depot at the Wilderness Lodge. Its not a trip to the bus depot for my family if we all dont ring the bell!!!! They are both just a part of the Disney fun!!!!

I don't touch 'em but people seem to like them and usually it's as they walk by. I've never had to stand there and deal with the noise. It was all done on purpose, sorry.

Are you just opposed to fun in general?

I know I am, especially at WDW.

WDW is very serious and should be treated with respect and reverence. If you want to have fun, I suggest you go to a theme park, not hallowed ground like Walt Disney World. :lookaroun

I sort of agree with them being annoying at a certain point. They've never bothered me until last trip when it seems we were stuck by the marbles for 30 minutes straight without moving. There was a group of around 5 children that all rattled the marbles at ONE time for the entire time. There were others around, too, that expressed they needed to chill for a bit. Otherwise, they don't normally bother me...
