lol
they were just casting pots in the first episode, next week will probably get some crabs coming in.
I saw the whole episode. Blake with Maverick was trying to get tips on where the crabs are. One of the captains said, "he should have taken notes, I told him already" There is $800 on the table of who finds crab first. Blake being cocky said I will split the money with all on the ship probably. Gonna be a great season.
Most popular ships are all ok. The ship that had trouble they left it as a cliff hanger, with only having gotten 1 survivor out of the water, he was in his survival suit. They founds an empty survival suit in the water floating, and they saw a life raft, but didn't look into it yet.
Time Bandit - the brothers that have both captained the ship are both on this ship this time around (Johnathan Hillstrand (king crab season) and Captain Andy Hillstrand (opilio crab season)), spent over $5000 on groceries
Cornelia Marie - Jake (captain's son) is a deckhand now. His older brother Josh is now the greenhorn.
Northwestern - they have a cousin on the ship now.
Maverick - Blake just trying to learn what to do now that he is captain, asking for tips. Rick and Donna return to run the ship for opilio season. Blake runs it for the King Crab season
New to Deadliest Catch this season are the men of the Wizard, led by Captain Keith Colburn; Captain Greg Moncrief of the Farwest Leader, who is joined on board by his wife Ragnhild; Captain Allen Oakley of the Early Dawn and his crew, including greenhorn Bryan Mezich; and the crew of the Aleutian Ballad, with Captain Corky Tilley at the helm and son Matthew and daughter Nicole on deck.
