My fiance and I have the Deluxe Dining Plan for our upcoming honeymoon in September. Going through it I see that we get three meal credits a day, but signature dining places take up two credits.

I'm basically weighing which would be better - eating three meals per day at your normal table service restaurants, or only two meals per day but have one of those be at signature dining. We'll probably end up doing a combination of the two, so my question is which of the signature dining places are really worth the two credits? I've never eaten at any of them.

I know California Grill is at the top of my list, I've wanted to eat there for as long as I can remember. But what other signature restaurants would you guys recommend?

Congrats on your up coming wedding and DISNEYmoon!! We also do the deluxe plan we never eat 3 full meals a day. We tend to use our snack credits for a quick breakfast of a fruit cup, muffin or bagel and a drink andt then 2 TS meals . I would book as many 2 credit meals as you can to get your moneys worth. A trick we have learned...by the end of the week are so full that we dont order desserts. why order what your not going to eat. Most places will allow you bottle water in place of desserts. Which in August when we go you can never have enought of!!!

I don't think I personally have the stomach to eat 3 sit-down meals per day  For the most part we like doing counter service meals for breakfast and lunch, and a table service for dinner only. Of course it's up to you guys and what you're used to, but perhaps signature dinners will be more enjoyable (read - romantic) for your honeymoon?

If you want to try something a little different, I'd recommend Jiko in Animal Kingdom Lodge. The atmosphere is really nice (especially for your honeymoon!) and the service and food are excellent. And I just love looking around Animal Kingdom lodge.

I've also heard great things about Narcoossee's and Citricos (in the Grand Floridian) and Flying Fish (on the Boardwalk), but the only signature I've been to so far is Jiko (twice). We'll be returning to Jiko in June, and will be trying California Grill and Narcoossee's or Citricos for the first time.

Congratulations and I hope your honeymoon is fabulous! :sohappy:

Congrats! My husband & I did a Disney trip for our Honeymoon too! No better way to go!

We also intend to do the Deluxe plan during our September trip. We intend on doing two meals per day...an early TS lunch, and a late TS dinner, mostly signature dinners. The signature places we have chosen are:

Yachtsmen Steakhouse
Narcoossee's
Le Cellier
California Grill

Best of luck to you!

My friend and I have the exact same plan for September.
We will use our snack points if we get hungry in between or after meals.

We are planning to eat at many Signature restaurants,

Citricos
Jiko
Artist's Point
Brown Derby
Yachtsman Steakhouse
California Grill

Weve done deluxe past 3 years. Its simply way too much food to do 3 meals in a day, but some days we do.

As far as using 2 ts credits, i recommend

Hoop de doo
Hollywood brown derby fantasmic dinner pkg
Cinderellas royal table for dinner
California grille
Le cellier (we usually do this for lunch though, too many good options at epcot)
