Daylight Saving Time

How did you all do with Daylight Saving Time? Did you spring forward with all your clocks? Just like Walt Disney, I like modern technology. Years ago, I got rid of all my normal clocks and replaced them all with atomic clocks. Even my wristwatch (Casio Wave Cepter) syncs up with the atomic clock in Fort Collins, CO.

So, when I woke up this morning, all the clocks (and my computer, VCR, etc.) had automatically reset to DST by themselves. Anyone else do this too or do you just manually reset?

Wow that's really cool!
No chance of forgetting.
My computer and cable box automatically reset, but everything else I do manually.
Good for you, Woody. Changing with the times - literally!

I hope that everyone replaced the batteries in their smoke detectors.

If you do a search, you may find a thread which explains why it's such a big deal to me.

PLEASE REPLACE THOSE BATTERIES!

I have updated all the clocks, except my cell phone. For some reason I can't fathom, my provider doesn't change the server time that feeds the auto-update on the cells for two or three days every time.

Oh, and Mom: I have a smoke detector on every floor with household power supply and UPS back-up... never have to change the batteries.

Good advice. Thank you! All of my smoke detectors (I have both ionization and photoelectric types) use lithium batteries that last for 10 years. When the battery gets low, the detector will beep to signal that it needs a new battery.

We always set our before going to bed on Saturday night. I'm scared to death of showing up at church at the wrong time! Everything was manually changed except for the cell phone and computer.
