Day & Night Short Film

Hi everyone! :wave: So for those of you who saw TS3 and saw the Day & Night Short before the movie-- I want to know what you guys thought of it. I thought it was great and probably the best short I've ever seen. It was funny and also touching when Day & Night listened to the broadcast given by Dr. Wayne Dyer. So what did you guys think of it?

I'll agree with you on that! :lol: Even the creators said they didn't know how to explain it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wFEE-Jgr7sw. I love how they agree as well that it's a weird concept!

I loved it. I like how Pixar is willing to take risks with this kind of stuff. Like that Youtube clip says, it's hard to describe...but just watching it, you totally understand it. It was very funny, and had a nice message too.

At first everyone was like !?!, but then you understood and it was touching. I liked when they met at sunset/sunrise . Really cute though!

Tough crowd, sounds like. The folks in my theater were laughing so hard I could barely hear it at times. (Good thing there wasn't much in the way of dialogue.) :lol:

Same here, the audience reaction when I saw it was great.

My wife and I both had the same reaction: this is creativity at its finest. I'm not sure whether I was more impressed or entertained by the short. Regardless, it's one of their best.

Definitely my favorite Pixar short by far, the originality and creativity is unbeatable.

Favorite short so far! Well maybe there are a few others but this is very very near the top along with Bound, Bound, Bound and rebound! And the one with the guy playing Checkers.

It was creative, very nice to watch, and touching!

You know a company is on a roll when they have the confidence to make something like this and show it ahead of what will be one of the most watched movies of the year.
