Just a quick question...when you book through David's or the DVC rental store do you have to pay the whole cost at booking or just a deposit?

DVC Rental Store doesnt require any deposit to check availability. Once you've decided to book, they require an $100 deposit to secure the reservation then $9 a point upfront & the remaining balance is due 45 days prior to arrival.Just a quick question...when you book through David's or the DVC rental store do you have to pay the whole cost at booking or just a deposit?
You have to pay it in full, no payment plan. However, they do offer the Paypal Credit option, and they have a 6 month 0% financing option. This is how I did it.Just a quick question...when you book through David's or the DVC rental store do you have to pay the whole cost at booking or just a deposit?
You can't make any changes to the reservation yourself, as you don't own it. The DVC owner who owns the points you are using would need to make the changes, including adding tickets or dining plan. You can book your own FP+ and ADRs not a problem, but ticket and dining the owner needs to do. David's should detail that in the paper work and act as the conduit to get those additions made onto your reservation. However with a DVC rental most people would advise you buy your tickets through a reseller (cheaper than WDW direct) and skip the dining plan since you will have access to at least a kitchenette (full sized kitchen in a 1BR or larger) and have groceries delivered and do some meals in room.
You can see plenty of threads about Davids, and point rentals in general in the DVC section of the boards.
Park tickets have nothing to do with DVC bookings. You can buy your tickets online, through a 3rd party, or at the gates.
Yes and no. You don't need to buy your tickets as part of your DVC booking (and I wouldn't suggest doing it, save money with a 3rd party ticket broker) but if they did want to buy tickets as part of the same booking for whatever reason, they cannot do so themselves, the owner needs to be the one to add that to the booking.
Then that would be specific to David's, and not the overall DVC rental process.
