Dark Side of the Moon/Wizard of Oz

I just got finished with watching "The Wizard of Oz" synchronized with Pink Floyd's CD "Dark Side of the Moon". To be honest, I'm stunned. It's crazy. So I ask you, what are youre thoughts on the "connection"? Try it if you haven't already!

I think AMC did it once where they put the album on the alternate-audio channel while showing the movie. It was really weird how it synched up, but I really don't think it's more than a bunch of coincidences.

I highly doubt it was a coincidence. There are 2 parts that are VERY unlikely to not be planned. The 2 are (highlight to read) when the old woman comes in the bycicle to take Toto away and it is timed exactly with the beggining of the song "Time", and also when the woman that talks in the background of a song (I forgot which) is talking at the exact moments that one characvter is.

Pink Floyds official stance on the subject has always been that they really dont know what people are talking about. But in some past interviews they have hinted at it being real. Also, about 10 years ago, an LA based radio talk show host took the claim of being the one who had started that rumor, and that it wsa indeed false. He was shot down within minutes of his testimony. And it really is, sober or not sober, to close to be a coincidence.

On a side note, ever see the little person hanging himself from the tree in the background of one of the yellow brick road scenes? Suppoisedly not real, but there is something definitely falling from the tree.

That little person hanging is actually a microphone boom that fell loose during the shoot. The reason they didn't reshoot the sequence is because they were already over-budget and had to let that one go.
