I am here to announce a new imagineering project of mine that y’all are free to help out with. It’s called The Magic Kingdom AU and it’s basically if Disney World was just the Magic Kingdom and its neighboring hotels including the unbuilt Venetian, Asian (Called Thai in my concept), and Persian hotels. It will be keeping all the classic attractions, including Splash Mountain and Sorcerers, along with adding new attractions like an area dealing with real and mythical animals in Adventureland complete with exhibits, an area based on Marvel in Tomorrowland, a small Discoveryland area with 20000 Leagues Submarine Voyage and a coaster featuring the monster from TDS's Journey To The Center Of The Earth in between Tomorrowland and Fantasyland, and a reworked Liberty Square called Columbia Harbor which focuses on American mythology and folklore.

This is a basic description of Columbia Harbor. The TSI rafts are re-tracked to start at the old keelboat docks, TSI is redesigned into the 7 Cities Of Cibola, 7 Anasazi cliff Pueblos with Mesoamerican influences full of gold, jewels, and traps, the Riverboat is permanently docked at the landing to make way for land expansion on the RoA, The Hall of Presidents is replaced with a small, quick paced dark ride based on The Legend Of Sleepy Hollow, The Haunted Mansion gets some new ghosts from American history in its cemetery, the Danse Macabre Library, a walkthrough themed to regional folklore, replaces Liberty Tree Tavern, Columbia Harbor House gets a keel and masts with sails and ropes attached to the facade along with having nautical art like scrimshaws on display inside, and a new area based on the Onondaga Nation of the Iroquois that live in New York and the Algonquian tribes that lived in Colonial America. This area has two attractions within a building that looks like a mountain to disguise it. The top holds an Onondaga village of the mid-1700s. This is the Iroquois Experience, a 2 hour and 30 minute long experience that must be booked in advance. Guests to the experience enter a cave then get a tour of the village from a young Native male who explains how Iroquois society worked (Clan mothers and chiefs, elders, literally everyone else), Iroquois history, the other tribes of the Iroquois, and the significance of Wampum belts, a cultural icon. Then, a young Native woman teaches guests about Iroquois music (along with the word for music), which uses drums, rattles, and flutes. Then, a Native boy teaches guests the Seed Game, a memory game of sorts using the seeds Iroquois people planted. Guests join a Hunter in a snowy forest (indoors) to search for animals (learning the word for Animal). A young native girl teaches guests about bead work, even allowing them to try their hand at some simple beadwork. The next encounter is a British Trader who showcases friendly Colonist/Native relations. The elder of the village shows guests headdresses of the Iroquois Confederacy (authentic Native Iroquois designs) and even shows the steps of making one. A clan mother leads guests through a Mythological Sojourn with encounters with a snipe, an Eel, a Bear, a Wolf, a Turtle, a Hawk, a Deer, and Heron (8 Clans of the Onondaga), The Underwater Panther (Evil spirit that lives underwater taking the form of a Panther with horns), Ga Oh (wind god), his moose (Eastern wind and rains), his panther (west wind and hurricanes), and The Great Peacemaker (A founder of the Iroquois Confederacy), all of whom explain myths of the Iroquois and their values. The mythology attraction starts with the creation of Turtle Island, which is the Earth as a giant snapping turtle. A chief teaches guests the myths of the skies from his longhouse, a hole on the roof for smoke to escape showing the stars (indoors) Finally, guests have an authentic meal of corn, beans, squash, pumpkin, potatoes, turkey, venison, cornbread, and cranberries with the natives. The young man from the beginning bids guests a final farewell in Iroquois and guests exit through the cave they entered from. The bottom of the mountain holds The Legend Of The Wendigo. This is a trackless dark ride, inspired by the 1971 Snow White ride in terms of fear factor and atmosphere, based on the Wendigo myth of the Algonquian Tribes. It's set in the backwoods of the town of Columbia Harbor behind the old Gracey Mansion where the local Algonquian Natives are living in fear of the Wendigo, an evil spirit with dark blue skin, black fur, an exposed ribcage, a tail, a deer's skull and legs, glowing red eyes, and a heart of ice. It attacks any who call its name and takes the form of its newest victim. Guests queue through a dark, menacing cavern full of animal and human bones before entering into a dark forest at night where guests board their vehicles, based on Algonquian canoes. The ride takes guests into the chaotic Algonquian village, where the entire tribe has collaborated to find and banish the Wendigo, but since the Wendigo can shapeshift, it’s harder than they thought. Guests will see the Wendigo transform into its latest victims, get scared by the Wendigo jumping out at them, and have even more close encounters. At the end, the Wendigo jumps out and the room fades to black. Guests exit through the same forest and cave they entered through. The ride is narrated by the Algonquian tribe's medicine man, who knows a lot about evil spirits as it is his job to heal people suffering because of the evil spirits. He explains the more esoteric concepts of Wendigo lore in a poetic fashion similar to the Ghost Host.

I just watched the most terrifying thing. 20,000 leagues under the sea would occasionally leak water, just imagine you in the submarine and water starts pouring in.

1970s Disney World was like that sometimes! I mean, look no further than Snow White 1971 or that creepy Khmer Ruin on Jungle Cruise!

Hi, I just wanted to let all of you lovely people know that I finally have the privilege to see a ballet! I will be seeing The Nutcracker by Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky at a local theatre with my school this Friday! I'm so excited to see a Russian ballet because I love Russian classical music by Tchaikovsky, Stravinsky, and Mussorgsky! This will also be my first time seeing a ballet in general!
