Attention All Players

As the teams discuss and plan for their projects due in just over 48 hours, the two hooded figures from before wheel in a mahogany box with a glass pane. From the shadows steps @Dark PerGron who comes to explain the items.

"Greetings all, I do hope you're enjoying our little game. Now, as promised, we have some wrenches to throw into the gameplay. This here is the Cabinet of Curiosities, a beautiful mahogany cabinet filled with some of my most exciting and intriguing artifacts from across the manor. Each round this cabinet will be brought out to wreak a little bit of havoc and make our game a bit more interesting. I have selected three of my personal favorite items from our collection to offer you today."

"The first item comes from Thailand and is a mummified Monkey's Paw. Legend says that this item offers the owner three wishes that it will grant. I've heard that the wishes may not be granted in the way expected of them, so do be careful. Our second item is a genuine Shrunken Head or Tsantsa from the Shuar people of Ecuador. This piece was donated to our collection centuries ago and is said to bring good luck and protection to owners who seek to use its powers for the good of others, yet bad luck and danger to those who plan to be greedy. Finally, we have the gorgeous Hope Diamond, a rare blue diamond from India that many falsely claim to be in the Smithsonian's collection. Actually, that one is a charming fake as the real item lies within my collection, though don't tell the feds please. It is claimed to be cursed, leading to the unfortunate fate of the owner, though I can't say it's harmed me. Though perhaps it only works on the fully fleshed, not the wholly boned.

Now, these items are for auction to each of you. You may claim them to use them, either for yourself, to gift them to a team member, or to gift them to an adversary. Do be careful with these items, however, for they are rare and powerful. If you would like to claim an item, utilize your dormitory room communication box (private chat established earlier) to select which item you want, what you plan to do with it, and why you deserve it. We will select a winner for each item and the owner can then choose to reveal it or keep it a secret. Any item will remain with the user until the semi-final round, though if you don't use it and are eliminated, the item will be revealed and will be out of play. Good luck and happy bidding!"​

Thank you for offering the Shuar artifact to us. I know I'm a guest judge, but I'll take this with the Aztec Idol you have for my personal collection. (chuckles)

You know it said something about a curse so maybe when you show it around school your worst nightmare will come true. You know that one nightmare we all had at one point.

Ok I’m not interested in starting an argument. By the way these are jokes that I’m saying. My nickname is also Fozz so yeah. Of course I believe reality exists. It seems I have forgot text does not convey emotion.
