I was surprised at Floyd's scores and surprised that Wayne scored higher then him. I thought he did well and really put alot into it!
They always give the older men better scores, because they did good for the age they are at. Which is fine I guess, but not altogether fair.

Helio's my favorite guy, too!
Great personality and not a bad dancer, either.
Doesn't hurt to have Julianne as a partner!
Do people really think they look good with all that plastic and whatnot in their faces???? I think it's just scary.

Julianne is my fiance's favorite. He likes her for more then a friend.

His hair color is also pretty scary, and so is whatever he is wearing (girdle?) that moves his belly paunch to just below his rib cage. Maybe the girdle is why he couldn't move his hips. Aging naturally is so much more attractive than trying to cover it up like that. Diane Keaton and Tony Bennett both look great - and neither of them are trying to hide the aging process.

I'm just glad Cheryl Burke finally got a not so great partner. She kind of irritates me.

Not surprised to see Albert Reed go... he was okay, but lacked personality and obviously didn't have as large a fan base as the other stars. I thought for sure Mark Cuban would be going though. And Wayne Newton in the bottom two? I know he's not good but I thought for sure his fan base would be stronger.

I liked Albert, but I guess people just didn't know him well enough to keep him in there. Mark has more personality, so maybe he'll stay for a while. Wayne. .. oy. . .he really is awful. But I agree. . .I thought his fan base would be stronger.

I'm actually pretty interested in the dancers' backstory...
Jonathan Roberts is married to his former partner Anna Trebunskya. Ashly Del Grosso married her first partner and they got divorced. Her second marriage was to a DWTS producer. They had their first baby last year which is why she isn't dancing. Nick Kosovich has a costume company with his wife and they make all the male costumes for the show. Tony Dovolani's dance partner is Elena Grinenko. Cheryl is dating actor Matthew Lawrence, brother of former contestant Joey Lawrence. Julianne helped choreograph Gwen Stefani's Wind It Up video. Edyta and Alec are dance partners and married in September just before the season started. Louis van Amstel used to partner Karina Smirnoff and teach at the dance studio owned by Ashly Del Grosso's mother. Julianne Hough used to be a student there. Louis also coached Nick Kosovich and Dmitry from So You Think You Can Dance.

I was wondering where Ashley was at. I really liked her. Glad to know it is because of good things that she isn't dancing!
And why isn't Louis dancing anymore? I didn't really care for him, but felt he thought he was pretty hot stuff. So I was interested to know why he wasn't on the show anymore.
I do like Julieanne but so far not a fan of her brother. I know it was an accident that he and Jennie Garth fell, but I felt it was more his fault and that the judges should not knock the star when it was the professional's mess up. It seemed that she was really angry at him. Or maybe I just took it that way.

I thought Jennie just seemed upset in general, maybe notsomuch AT Derek but at being sick, and having to do the quick step, and then falling. She seems really serious about the whole thing. I don't like Derek as much as Julianne.
So...Marie Osmond's partner Jonathan is married to Albert's partner Anna? Did I get that out of that incestuous little paragraph? :lol:

With the two models being the first to go this year, and Paulina being the first to go last year, I'm guessing with maybe the possible exception of Christie Brinkley, Cheryl Tiegs and Cindy Crawford models just don't have a fan base.
