Can you make a sign with my new avatar on it along with my screen name and phone number (I'll IM it to you), and flash it at him every time he looks your way?

We'll work out a non-verbal communication system. Expect a voicemail.
Here's a very informative interview of Scott Trowbridge, who is the head honcho Imagineer in charge of the Star Wars Land project. Very interesting!
Star Wars Land looks impressive- but it doesn't look like "Disneyland".
The reason it will blend into Critter Country and Frontierland is because they're spending tons of money to hide the "Star Wars" from the rest of the park. Most other lands are visible from the hub, and all work together to be a cohesive "Disneyland" experience.
Very true. This will make the rest of Disneyland look second rate.
Only since the project was announced. How long before we start hearing the haters use this as a legitimate criticism of Star Wars Land? Or have they already?
So when we enter the land we would pay $1.25 per credit on our Star Card and then use the Star card in all the shops and restuarants.I could see simple things like pricing being in credits; that 25 dollar t-shirt costs 25 credits, for example.

YOU'RE RIGHT! And look at the coloring in that rockwork! So is this thing supposed to be an homage to the petrified tree or what? Sure looks like it to me!

Agreed. Magic Kingdom, with less rides, is truer to the Disneyland layout than disneyland is. Hub spoke and wheel, only. Disneyland is known for that but even from the presentation point in the hub, you cant see every land; New Orleans Square and critter country, not to mention toontown which I just believe to be a subland of Fantasyland, aren't represented. And walt wanted to build international street, edison square, liberty street, etc.Very true. This will make the rest of Disneyland look second rate. Good thing it's in the back of the park. If this was the first thing they saw coming in, the rest of the park would be a huge letdown.
It only seems cohesive to you because you grew up with it. It really isn't all that cohesive.
Well, now I know what I'm dressing up as for Halloween.I have it on good authority that if you wave some Disney stock around, he'll leap over chairs and people to offer to buy it back from you.
The place was designed like a movie theater. The tunnels show posters for coming attractions. Main Street is the theater lobby. The spoke is where you chose which theater to see a movie in. The lands are the movies staring you!
However, you cannot enter New Orleans Square or Critter Country for instance from the main hub...

New Orleans Square, Critter Country, SW land and Toon Town are where you jump into the screen from the theater like in Last Action Hero, Pleasentville or Cool World. However, you cannot enter New Orleans Square or Critter Country for instance from the main hub...
