Yes they have, you just have to go to the actual D23 announcement:

Oh, thank you!

10:30 AM on a Sunday?! Oof! That is way to early for me to make it over to the convention center to see this. Especially to put up with a guy like Chapek.

Around Noon, once my Denver Omelette is ready, I'll have to tune in the Internet and see what his Teleprompter told him to say. I love Epcot Center and am thrilled it's getting long overdue attention, but 10:30 AM on a Sunday is just not doable. It's barely human.

Well you can watch it on replay on your favorite Disney vlogger Youtube channel. Cause you know it'll be discussed by all of them....

Is it me, or is that lineup kind of underwhelming?

Aside from the hilariously out of touch "Music of Star Wars Land" kickoff panel, the rest seem like rehashing the lives of dead Imagineers, some vague filler stuff, and a mandatory sprinkle of #MeToo to remind everyone that John Lassetter was let go. The Haunted Mansion thing could be good, probably.

They still haven't announced the date/time when Daddy Chapek will get up onstage and read his Teleprompter.

Remember to do your Upbeat Smile and enthusiasm for the product, Daddy Chapek!

I just hope they at least tease about WDW's 50th Anniversary that occurs in 2021. Even if it's just a logo.

I really hope the crowd is vocal during these panels.

I hope y’all Boo $hapek.

There is an incredibly designed barier between the guests and the suits.

This truly is a rare chance to be in the same room at the same time. Use it.

When I attended the D23 Expo Parks & Resorts panel back in 2015, one of the highlights was the noticable lukewarm response the audience gave to the announcement / concept art presentation for the planned 'Frozen Ever After' Attraction at Epcot.

It was mildly satisfying to hear the quiet audience shifting their bums in their seats as the presenter on stage gushed forth every excited description imaginable for what was viewed in fans' eyes as a unwanted overlay to the exsisting 'Malestrom' Attraction.

The audiable mixed response was so appropriate at the time.
Some people booed, even.

So it does happen, but probably more noticable being there in person.
