Best issue yet. A really nice Haunted Mansion article. The Mansion logo on the cover glows in the dark too! Articles include, Adventures by Disney in Switzerland, The Disney family museum, a tribute to Wayne Allwine, Ponyo on the Cliff, Tinker Bell, The Blue Bayou resturant, A really good Snow White article, The Disneyland 59 Expansion, and the new Hall of Presidents. All that on top of the regular articles. This is a packed book. I cant wait till I have more time to read it all.

But the best part? Theres another bonus item for subscribers! Even better than last issues fan. Each book comes with one of 6 ranodm Disney Land 59 patches. Heres the text from the back of the packaging:
The custom-made patch you have recived is one of six created exclusively for the D23 members using historical art designed to celebrate the first expansion of Disneyland on June 14, 1959. This commemorative art, rarely seen by the general public over the last five decades, decorated Main Street, U.S.A. and helped announce the opening of six spectacular new attractions; Matterhorn Bobsleds, Disneyland-Alweg Monorail System, Submarine Voyage, Fantasyland Autopia, Motor Boat Cruise and Skyway Thru Glacier Grotto. We hope this Walt Disney Archives collectible will be a much-loved addition to your Disney treasures.

Theres one patch for each ride. I got the Submarine Voyage. So keep your eyes on the mail.

Autopia for me.

cool to look at, but then what?
Buy 5 more issues in hopes of collecting them all, of course! :lookaroun

BTW...calling the Skyway a "new" attraction in 1959 just because it went through the Matterhorn? Weak. One of the main reasons for building the 'Horn was to cover up the ugly Skyway tower that stood on the same spot.

Not going for the "collect all 6" This might be the first to look at selling on e-bay or giving away to someone who really wants it. The fan and the poster are keepers, as are the magazines, but a Disneyland 1959 attraction patch was not even on the list of things to collect.
