Wife loves this show.

This is the most exciting announcement of D23 so far, I love this show.

When, I went down for the Springtime Surprise weekend. I saw the camera crew starting to film for this.

Great show.
My wife was a keeper at Animal Kingdom for a few years and the show absolutely nails it.

I understand you hoping for something you and the family enjoy every few years. Believe me I get it. But this is D23 and I’m so hoping better announcements are made instead of something that can be announced on any given Tuesday of any week of the year. D23 expo, to me means major news but I hope you get the dining plan.
Operational news is still important, particularly coming out of COVID. Obviously I don't wish for the return of the dining plan to be the main/featured announcement.

That is awesome. My dream is to be a cast member. My wife and I were the couple they pulled into the ship attack scene at Studios when they still did it on the Backlot Tour. I tell everyone we were cast members. 🤣🤣
It was the greatest, but Florida never felt like home so we had to move north when she got pregnant.

@trainplane3 can I buy these yet?
As far as I know, any art shown off this weekend at D23 will not be for sale this weekend. It still falls into the usual approval process if they feel it's worth selling which is annoying.

I do believe most of this art is designed to be sold too. You saw the Tom Whalen Runaway Railway poster? I expect that to be available at some point since it's A. Tom Whalen (well established Disney Fine Arts artist) and B. follows what Cyclops requires to print it (not using anything too crazy that would create an insane cost or need research to do on mass scale).

Anyone else completely underwhelmed by this D23 so far? Or is it just me? This has been completely uneventful so far. Gives me very little hope for tomorrow.

I don't think these two days translate well. I did see your comment on Live Action Star Wars, which is fair. Otherwise they pretty much covered everything. At it was today's panel was starting to feel a bit over-long.

Most of the actual value of the studios panels never make it out of Hall D23 though, it's a lot more boring just getting 10% of the trailers and some logos at home.

Most D23's are like this. Media and other announcements are made on these two days. The final day is when the parks get attention. Though, the lack of new art in the Epcot section makes me wonder.

This one seems more mundane to me. And that's why I have little hope for tomorrow with the parks panel. I just don't see them giving us anything more than maybe some basic info on things we already know. And then tell us how great a job they are doing and that guest satisfaction is at an all time high.
