It's hard finding up-to-date comparisons of convention center size, but as of 2017, there were at least 10 other convention centers in the US with as much or more exhibit space than Anaheim. OCCC is the second largest in the country behind Chicago's McCormick Place.

Size is not the sole determining factor - nor did I say Anaheim was the biggest. Many shows stay out of the old major east/north cities due to the overbearing unions. That includes New York , Chicago, philly, etc.

But one thing is for sure... you don’t want to be in a place that can’t handle your scope.

Anaheim, vegas, and Orlando are popular spots due to their good blend of exhibitor relations and scale

They would never have it there because there's no Disney connection (other than filming a lot of Marvel stuff in the area), but the World Congress Center in Atlanta is MASSIVE. I think it's at least twice as large as the Anaheim convention center.

No Disney connection? The company’s largest site is 15mins away... as are 30,000 of their hotel rooms.
