4. Universe of Energy replacement
5. New Country: Brazil
6. Ratatouille
7. Tron Coaster
8. Tiki Room replacement?
9. Frontierland expansion
10. Gondola transportation
11. DVC expansion somewhere
12. Disney Spring cirque du soleil replacement?

I missed where the 12 came from - who posted that?

I wouldn't say that 1 & 2 count as an announcement at this point. They are being built. Your #11 would be Caribbean Beach.

My thoughts on your thoughts... :D

1. Star Wars Land - Extensively covered at WDI Pavilion, if they spend time on it at the Parks Presentation they are just filling time after cancelling other announcements at the last minute like in 2015.
2. Toy Story Land - What more is there to say? It's a Mater's clone and a kiddy coaster.
3. Great Movie Ride replacement - Now there's news! Needs to be handled correctly, D23 is the right venue.
4. Universe of Energy replacement - More big news! Less sensitive than Great Movie Ride, but if Guardians is involved watch out for fan reaction.
5. New Country: Brazil - An announcement worthy of a splashy D23 reveal. I just wish it was Spain instead.
6. Ratatouille - Same as Brazil announcement, and would be great!
7. Tron Coaster - Surprise! (Unless you use the Internet, then it's not a surprise)
8. Tiki Room replacement? - They should install plexiglass panels on the stage to protect Chapek from flying objects.
9. Frontierland expansion - I'm thinking that shows up for the 2021 D23 Expo
10. Gondola transportation - No one will be surprised, but at least it will be interesting!
11. DVC expansion somewhere - Yawn. Save that for the Parks Blog cubicle dwellers to shill.

Agreed.

I think the WDI Pavilion, always a hit, will be what everyone is talking about by 12 Noon Anaheim Time this Friday. The Internet tubes may even need to be shut down for a bit due to overheating that day. :eek:

Although it's a kiddy coaster so to speak, it's not a barnstormer by no means.

Unless it's for a Star Wars themed Cirque show. This could be really cool if you've ever seen KA. The vertical battle on this wall is epic.

I did not include any entertainment announcements such as the new Illuminations, Fantasmic overhaul and nighttime parade but all of that will likely be way down the road Parks Blog posts rather than at D23.

I think they spend most of their parks time revealing details of Star Wars and toy story land.

I doubt they announce more than 2 new projects for the states. Probably tron and GMR

I'm not confident that we'll get more than like 2 new attraction announcements for WDW. I feel like there is way too much hype right now and everyone has no place to go but be letdown. I'm going to temper my expectations so I don't go into this thinking we are getting 12 announcements for WDW.

A lot of times it's: "Mickey will be taking over the great movie ride in his own new attraction! We'll have more details on this in the coming months. Oh and here's one very vague concept art photo that really shows nothing."

I do look forward to a lot of the current threads finally falling off the main page in favor of tangible stuff that's confirmed and not just rumor.
