I the EPCOT re-imagining and it's associated fireworks and Lagoon Taco show have eaten the budget for years to come...
Aside from the Test Track overhaul that GM is paying for, there doesn't appear to be anything else coming to that park...they can't even get what they did build to work.

I wouldn't be that glum, chum, over Epcot.

I feel the two problem children will be dealt with eventually, definitely within the next eight years, they're wanna have all parks get updates/new stuff so they can gloat it, just pray they announce SSE and work on it before early 2026.

Imagination, lol lmao, depends how much the next CEO loves Figment at the end of the day.

Nor that I'm wishing it to be this soon but might SSE close for redo as soon as TT 3.0 opens?

Maybe not that soon? Last I heard it's "next in line" after TT 3.0. Wouldn't be shocked if SSE 4.0 leaves 2025 but wouldn't be shocked if it didn't.

Actual prediction: they finally announce the Scarlett Witch movie at this event.

Who wants that after they ruined her character in her own show and what was basically a Scarlet Witch movie (Dr. Strange 2)? She's an awful person who kept starving people imprisoned against their will, so she could keep her fake kids. Then she killed hundreds of innocent people in DS2.

Comic book Scarlet Witch had psychological issues which did to the whole world what Wandavision Wanda did to Westview. So, in the comics, she's not a straight arrow hero like Captain America or Superman.

In the MCU, she was traumatized by war and the loss of her whole village/town and family (except her brother). She was trained by Nazis, then an evil AI. She only turn good due to Vision's help. And in the process, her remaining family member, Pietro, was killed.

Then the Sokovia accords demanded she be registered... which has more Fascist connotations when you're 'registering' a minority and treating them differently. She was then forced to chose and fight in an Avenger civil war. Then went into hiding. And again, Vision was her only grounding to doing good.

Then with the Infinity saga, she was in the middle of it with Vision having one of the stones. She had to kill the one she loved to protect the world, which didn't work in the end. After Thanos's final defeat, she saw Vision in pieces treated like property. And when she went to the plot that Vision bought to be their home, she had a psychotic episode, and in her grief, created Wandavision.

After finally realizing she was hurting people, and with Wandavision's Vision to help her, she let go of The Hex and went into isolation.

With the Darkhold. A cursed object which turns it's owner to evil. Which, in Wanda's case, was easy to do given her poor ego boundaries, her grief, and tantalizing her with reuniting with her departed sons.

In the end, when she saw her other-dimensional sons afraid of her, she realized the harm she was doing (just like at the end in Westview). And so, she destroyed all multi-dimensional copies of the Darkhold with herself. Maybe.

I'm thinking more details about the Tropical Americas section. We got the carousal animal at D23. Maybe something bigger for Indiana Jones and Encanto?

I don't think we will get Brazil as a country in Epcot. Too close to Tropical Americas, IMO.

I wonder if we'll ever get a new pavilion in the world showcase.

A lot of people want it actually. She is far and away the most popular character in the franchise at the moment. Absolutely beloved on all corners of the internet. She goes viral like every other day at this point. Huge on TikTok, huge on Twitter, she's one of the most popular Halloween costumes of the moment, WandaVision is one of the most beloved things Marvel's put out post-Endgame.

Totally cool if you're not into her but make no mistake, Scarlet Witch is an absolute fan favorite and people are hungry for her movie.

I’m assuming like the expo there will be no official stream but hopefully there will be a few unofficial ones. Remains to be seen of course if there will even be park related news.

have given up on that sorry to say, are they still looking at adding the tangled ride between Germany and Italy? RIP Brazil pavilion.
I think that's for the best because to be completely honest with you, I don't think the spirit and collaboration that the original pavilions were made with is even really going to be found out in the world at the moment. The pavilions existing as they do came about due to countries wishing to share their culture and a desire from the public to experience those far away places. Now a days, it's relatively easy to get to these places and I cannot imagine many countries would be all that excited about working with Disney on a scaled down pavilion when people could just go and see the real thing. Not to mention there's more international guests coming to Disney than there were in the 80s and I can't imagine many of those guests, especially European ones, find much of value in the pavilions beyond a nice chuckle at the ways in which 1982 America presents them.
