I bought the first one with a Barnes&Noble gift card that I thought I would never use. Honestly, the magazine isn't all that exciting. Not sure I will be buying anymore. So the club membership is definitely a "no thanks" deal for me. If it would have been under $50 then I might have considered it.

Well folks! first I wasn't joining because of the postage to England, then I cracked and joined! Now (even before I get the pack) I,m feeling ripped off ... read on and try not to laugh or say 'I told you so'. I forgot to add the tshirt I wanted to my order, and when I went back to order it they are charging $50 to post the smallest (even a pin) order over here!!! This is unbelievable. :(

I'm not quite as bad [slightly cheaper shipping to Canada], but similar. I ordered the membership, then separately ordered two shirts and a hat, then they added the charter pins so I ordered them. The different orders with a total of over $150 in shipping charges.

That said, I don't know that combining orders would make that big a difference, they charge based on price, not on actual size and weight...

I starting to hate disneyshopping myself.:fork: In my order a pin and one shrit came in two diferent ups orders which is fine, however I got an email last night saying my membership was shipped. Good News right wrong No tracking number:eek:. Are they sending me my special "charter membership" & "collectable" through standard mail :eek: :confused:

Just check this morning and still no tracking number.

I really dont want to go to the post office:mad:

I'm holding off until the pixie-dust settles. I have a fairly strong feeling that by the end of the year there will be more than one price/levels for the membership and possibly discounts for various groups like Florida residents or Passholders.

Like I've said in the D64 thread I'll happily pay for the membership minus the magazine subscription which seems to be the bulk of the price.

Well I just recieved my membership card in the mail. Its really cute :). In the post card mailer it said my certificate,welcome letter and mag. will come in the mail in 1-2 weeks and my special gift from the archives will arrive separately:mad: IM DYING TO KNOW WHAT IT IS.:o

I've been emailed to say 'something' has been shipped, my husband texts me from work to see if it's arrived!:ROFLOL:

Most likely it's your membership card. I recieved the email on Wednesday saying my membership had shipped and in yesterdays mail I got my card :) We have to wait for the rest:(

I got my magazine, certificate, and welcome letter today. No gift yet though. The certificate has Gurgi on it.:sohappy:
