That seemed to be about trying to convince the Oriental Land Company to buy their own versions. Since then they have committed to their next big projects. An update on the Fantasyland changes would seem likely.
im curious if that wasn't just the company line because in reality they weren't ready for an announcement or didn't feel they had enough material to announce

how many D23's have there been?
There have been three D23 Expos.

I believe, movie-wise, they will talk about the live-action "Beauty and the Beast" and maybe another live action after that, because of the success of "Cinderella." Also, I hope to hear if they are really doing another Toy Story. All upcoming Marvel movie info (and star appearance) are enjoyable to me too.

There was only something like a month between the two Expos.
August to October so a couple of months.... pretty sure some things were done after D23 here in the states
again I could be wrong

Edit: I seem to remember some of the drawings being done by Dylan Cole dated after the event

They will announce that there will be announcements of announcements of an announcement in the future.

I appreciate the info, thanks! :)

wait....so there will be multiple announcements about multiple announcements about a single announcement? Sounds reasonable.
Yep.. and Iger will forget each and every one of those announcements of announcements. All while fanbois drool over things not announced and not happening in WDW.

In other words, temper the expectations of any major announcements for WDW. Disney won't disappoint you this way. But expect anything major, and disappointment will be supplied in generous numbers.

I was never Captain U.S.A. And will never be!!!!!

I just try to stay in reality when in comes to WDW and not live in a pixie dusted fantasy world. Such a world is dangerous and destroys brain cells. Living in WDW/Disney reality, though it stinks, is actually much better than living in fantasy where disappointment is the soup of the day. With Disney in WDW anyway.
