It's like imagining your grandparent or parent as an audio-animatronic or those AI models. It can't replace the real person, and has a real chance, that even if done well, is unsettlingly creepy and disappointing. He's not a character to exploit.

there’s a reason Walt didn’t like the Uncle Walt persona towards the end- he hated being seen as a character. Unfortunately Iger will milk the Walt character until the end of time

If Lion King attraction is based on the 2019 film that may be one of the dumbest things they've ever done. Imagine they announced a Jungle Book attraction for AK and it's based on the CGI film

The "live action" Jungle Book is actually better than the original. It's pretty much the only live action film where I would say that.

I'd actually prefer that if they ever put JB in DAK that they use the live action version. Would fit better.

But Lion King should definitely be the original for anywhere. It's just so vastly superior.

Jesus, a Lion King ride is finally going to be built, and WDI shoots itself in the foot during the concept phase. Good grief, why do I keep hoping with this company? (Imagine an AA Scar, based on the 2D design, that's as articulate as Ursula in the Mermaid ride... damn...)
