Just because the realistic movie didn’t translate well doesn’t mean that a realistic ride won’t.

Let them tell the story and judge the ride on its own merits not the movie’s. Pretend as if it’s original IP and there is no Lion King movie.

there’s a reason Walt didn’t like the Uncle Walt persona towards the end- he hated being seen as a character. Unfortunately Iger will milk the Walt character until the end of time

The "live action" Jungle Book is actually better than the original. It's pretty much the only live action film where I would say that.

I'd actually prefer that if they ever put JB in DAK that they use the live action version. Would fit better.

But Lion King should definitely be the original for anywhere. It's just so vastly superior.
