My thoughts are the next big step before they can break ground for Disney Forward is the Eastern Gateway. I know this is Disney but not sure that is a big announcement they would want to showcase at D23 a parking lot. Maybe saving it all for D23 2026 or Destination D once they get that going and have more of a timeline now that they are building 2 new attractions.
