Trip Report Cycling through Celebration, a cream cheese covered remote and the Closed Wallet Rebellion of 2016.

So last week we spent seven nights in a one-bedroom at Saratoga Springs Resort in the Congress Park section. We like Congress Park and have stayed in that section before. The walk over to Disney Springs is fun and since the new section just opened with several new shops and restaurants, we walked over several times during the week.
I think the first evening there is when I declared the wallet closed and decided to try to save a dollar or two this trip. What started it was sticker shock at some of the prices I was seeing.
But let's start at the beginning and I'll go into more detail later.
We got an early start and arrived to WDW via the 535 entrance to Hotel Plaza Blvd.:

After walking around the entrance area at MK for a little while we hopped a boat back to the Wilderness Lodge. Always enjoy the boat rides. So, how can we possibly be that close to MK and not go in? Easy, I have a pool and lounge chair just awaiting my arrival. After finishing a nice, quiet read, we will head back over to Disney Springs. Hope you will come back and join us tomorrow.

So as I logged out for the evening I noticed she had emailed me a photo earlier with the caption "Guess where I am?"
Apparently she is taking a tour before going on to her destination.
Much too arid for Venice.
I'm gonna say maybe the Grand Canyon, or Mozambique or perhaps the French Alps.
Any guesses?

Yes, agreed on the photos of the sun peeking through the trees!!

This firefly thing sounds intriguing!!

Great photos all around, and don't worry about no one being interested just because you didn't go to a park...we like all trips, viewpoints, and routines!! :)
Thank you. The fireflies were amazing.
Thanks for the encouraging words and for following along on my somewhat different kind of trip report.
