Has anyone ever been a victim of this? Has it been so bad that you were drawn to return to a message board that people hated you, despised you, lied about you, told you to kill yourself? How do you deal with it? Why are people so mean to other people? I don't post personal info on this board as the people from the board I'm referring to no doubt stalk it and post what is said here over there.

Seriously?? Don't listen to those idiots! You always have nice contributing comments on here. I know it's hard and there are plenty of real jack holes on here too, but just try to ignore it. Someone who would cyber bully is really the biggest coward and I'm SURE living a very unhappy life.

I honestly just laugh and don't take it personally. These people are cowards, because I can bet most of them wouldn't say those things to people's faces. I remember one time, asking the idiot behind the computer if they wanted my address so they could come and say those things to my face. Never got a response. I have thick skin, and I got that from my parents. Cyber bullying is horrible, but it doesn't effect me negatively. I find it humorous, most of the time.

It's hard to ignore it when so many people are saying horrible things about you. It's really my own fault. I should have never gone back to that forum, as it only exists to say awful things about people that post on other message boards. So pretty much every one there is incredibly nasty. It's just so depressing. You go through your life trying to do right by yourself and others. You have a loving wife, wonderful children. Then you ask yourself, why am I so hated, and just can't put it out of your mind.

Does the other site have a moderator that you can file a complaint with?
The others are right. People would never say the stuff to your face they say on forums.
Someone would have knocked their lights out by now.

No Mods. Just the owner of the forum who is as evil as the rest of them.

I know it's hard to ignore but look where this cyber bullying is coming from. I'm sure none of them have loving wives or lovely children. And seriously what could you have done that's soooo horrible? Give me a break with these jack holes. These people that do that have miserable lives so they are trying to make other people's lives miserable also. Don't let it! And forget that other forum. I would never go back there other than to tell those people F-OFF!

You're just going to have that in some forums. It is the "Internet tough guy" thing. They would not dare say that stuff to your face. ;) Just ignore them and move on to another board that does not tolerate that sort of behavior. :D

Don't let these people live in your head rent-free! I would just focus on your family tonight. Maybe you and family can do something together tonight? Perhaps something small, like playing a quick game while chatting about what's going on in their lives? Surround yourself with the people who love you and don't dwell on the other stuff.
